At Playback Productions we only use state-of-the-art equipment. We utilize the very latest in digital equipment for all our productions. The camera of our choice is the Sony HVR-Z7P and a Canon 5D MarkII. Our cameras can record in HDV, DV, 1080p and 1080i format. These are broadcast quality, professional units with a small compact design to make the camera crew blend in with your guests.

A newly developed 1/3 inch x 3 ClearVid CMOS processor offers high resolution, high sensitivity, wide dynamic range and excellent colour reproduction. The camera has excellent low light recording ability (1.5 lux), which means we can film in a dark room with no bright camera lights in your face to distract the bride and groom or your guests.

The editing software we use is the latest technology in the industry. We use Apple’s own Final Cut Studio 3, which is also used for Hollywood-style DVDs, sports, news, commercials, episodic television, documentary production and feature film.
